Chilcotin update

The Cariboo News – Chilcotin Region Updates 1. Wildfire Recovery Efforts Continue Near Alexis Creek Crews and volunteers are still working to restore areas affected by last summer’s wildfires west of Alexis Creek. The Ministry of Forests reports that replanting and soil stabilization projects are underway, with local contractors leading much of the work. Residents say the return of green growth is a welcome sight after months of recovery. 2. Chilcotin Highway Upgrades Move Forward Highway 20 improvements between Riske Creek and Tatla Lake are progressing ahead of schedule. The upgrades include resurfacing, new guardrails, and improved signage to enhance safety for travelers and transport trucks. The project is expected to wrap up before winter conditions set in. 3. This Cat Loves the Hammock built just for him.

  Nice fire hose hammock. This is done by weaving and fastening with bolts and washers. I wonder if we could do one for a horse? Would a horse want to use it? How would it climb into it? Forget about the horse idea.  Now that it's a hit I guess cats big and small will be nagging the appropriate people. It looks good so I guess you can't blame them. It looks like cats may like the idea better than cardboard boxes 😁.
