The PENGUINS did it.. Penguins and the Great Ice Ballot Heist Credit: https://goo.gl/images/YcSRyq  Thank you! Thank you, tremendous crowd—you’re incredible. Now, I’ve got to tell you about something huge. Something the fake news won’t talk about because they’re too scared. PENGUINS. Yes, penguins again! But this time—it’s serious. Very serious. TREMENDOUSLY serious. People ask me, “Sir, what about the election?” I say— didn’t lose it, no way. No, it was stolen. And the culprits? Penguins. The greatest election thieves in history. They smuggled fake ballots—ice ballots, folks! Frozen ballots! You think I’m kidding? I’m not kidding. It’s true. They hide them in ice floes and drift them down into swing states—New York, Florida, Pennsylvania. The ballots melt just in time to change the vote. Incredible deception. Acts Of Kindness'

This from the  1440 Daily Digest Today, we're sharing a story from reader  Roni P.  in  Palm Beach Gardens, Florida .   "While vacationing at Point Pleasant Beach, my daughter, grandson, and I stopped at Salty’s Inlet Ice Cream. We had never been there before but it looked inviting with nice outdoor seating. We were eating our ice cream, which was delicious, and the sky became quite dark and the wind started blowing. The owner came out to close the umbrellas and asked if we needed help to our car with the stroller. When we said we walked, he insisted his wife drive us home."    What act(s) of kindness did you experience this week?  Tell us here .

MURDER IN CACHE CREEK   ## Episode 1: The Arrival The stagecoach rumbled to a stop in front of the Oasis Saloon , kicking up a cloud of dust that settled on the weathered wooden buildings lining the main street. It was the summer of 1866, and the small town of Cache Creek was bustling with activity as prospectors, merchants, and adventurers made their way to and from the goldfields of the Cariboo. Among the passengers disembarking from the coach was a tall, broad-shouldered man with piercing blue eyes and a neatly trimmed beard. He introduced himself as Buck Thornton, a businessman from San Francisco looking to invest in the booming gold trade. The hotel owner, a jovial man named Tom Sullivan, greeted him warmly and offered him the best room in the establishment. As Thornton settled into his room, he couldn't help but overhear a heated conversation in the hallway. Two men were arguing about a recent gold shipment that had arrived from Barkerville. One voice, gruff and impatient, in...

THE CARIBOO NEWS

I am going to be aggregating news from the Cariboo, Shuswap, and North Okanagan. And probably throw in some general news and interesting stuff.    I'm going to try to do a weekly serial story as well. I'm thinking about it now. You're gonna need to sign up for it. I'm not selling anything so don't be afraid.   I am trying to get to 1000 subscriptions before Christmas.  Help me please 😄.
