So, for a bit of fun, I decided to list something to do this weekend Savona Harvest Festival .  Sunday, Sept 7 - 9am to 1pm. at the Savona Park boat launch. There will bw venders et. Lions Club Bingo in Cache Creek.  At the community Hall. Monday, September 8.  6pm start.  There are some big cash prizes.  So arrive early. Clinton - Music in the Park Saturday, September 6 11am to 5pm. Food vendors, great music, and it's FREE.

The Cariboo News – Chilcotin Region Updates 1. Wildfire Recovery Efforts Continue Near Alexis Creek Crews and volunteers are still working to restore areas affected by last summer’s wildfires west of Alexis Creek. The Ministry of Forests reports that replanting and soil stabilization projects are underway, with local contractors leading much of the work. Residents say the return of green growth is a welcome sight after months of recovery. 2. Chilcotin Highway Upgrades Move Forward Highway 20 improvements between Riske Creek and Tatla Lake are progressing ahead of schedule. The upgrades include resurfacing, new guardrails, and improved signage to enhance safety for travelers and transport trucks. The project is expected to wrap up before winter conditions set in. 3. Sleek, silver, some of the most advanced machines you’ve ever seen. Like the Tesla pickup truck. They don’t show up on radar, they don’t make a sound—absolute stealth. The military says, “Sir, we don’t know what these are.” And I’ll tell you what they are: aliens . That’s right, aliens , coming into the United States, because where else would they want to go? Everybody knows America is the best place in the universe. Now here’s the wild part—I actually spoke to one of them. Tall guy, big eyes, very futuristic.
