I Noticed One Thing

Today as I was going for a stroll I noticed that the tent encampments had a couple of stray cats living in with the homeless.
  This got me thinking about a cats life. Do they know what the cats that have loving homes live like?
  Do they know that they just have to meow and food will come from some magical source?
  Do they know that they have a warm, safe spot to rest in? 
  Do they know how it feels to be groomed and clean? Have someone looking after you? Getting you help if you're feeling sick? Making sure you don't have fleas or anything like that?
  Who knows? The cats know.

The Cariboo News – Chilcotin Region Updates 1. Wildfire Recovery Efforts Continue Near Alexis Creek Crews and volunteers are still working to restore areas affected by last summer’s wildfires west of Alexis Creek. The Ministry of Forests reports that replanting and soil stabilization projects are underway, with local contractors leading much of the work. Residents say the return of green growth is a welcome sight after months of recovery. 2. Chilcotin Highway Upgrades Move Forward Highway 20 improvements between Riske Creek and Tatla Lake are progressing ahead of schedule. The upgrades include resurfacing, new guardrails, and improved signage to enhance safety for travelers and transport trucks. The project is expected to wrap up before winter conditions set in. 3.
